Nekton MSA

Highly effective mineral compound for pet birds, reptiles and amphibians

NEKTON-MSA is a high quality mineral blend supplemented with vitamin D3, major/trace elements and amino acids. NEKTON-MSA supports and powers the metabolism and bones, prevents rickets, activates mineral conversion and helps to compensate for the damage caused by calcium deficiency. NEKTON-MSA covers the increasing need for minerals in breeding/rearing, protects against malabsorption, increases defense against infection and prevents fragile eggs in birds. NEKTON-MSA supports good development of bone structures in young animals. It is especially important for your animals for preventing later diseases caused by a deficiency of vitamins and minerals.

NEKTON-MSA is not soluble in water but can be mixed without any problems with soft feed or bird feed. Contains 2 amino acids

Composition:

Dicalcium phosphate, silicic acid

Analytical constituents:

• Calcium 26.1 %,
• Phosphorus 19.6 %

Nutritional additives per 1000 grams:

• 10,000 I.U. vitamin D3
• 2,500 mg iron (ferrous(II)-sulphate, monohydrate)
• 1,220 mg zinc (zinc sulphate, monohydrate)
• 1,251 mg manganese (manganese(II)-sulphate, monohydrate)
• 200 mg copper (cupric(II)-sulphate, pentahydrate)
• 100 mg iodine (calcium iodate, anhydrous)

Feeding recommendation:

For reptiles: administer 0.25 g NEKTON-MSA per kg (0.11 g per pound) of body weight daily or 1.5 g (0.05 oz) once a week. It can be sprinkled on food, do not mix with water.

For birds: Mix 1 g (0.03 oz) of NEKTON-MSA with 100 g (3.53 oz) of soft food daily. Do not mix with water.

One enclosed measuring spoon equals 1.5 g (0.05 oz) of NEKTON-MSA.

Due to the higher vitamin D and trace element content compared to complete feeds, this feed may only be used to supplement up to 9.5% of the daily ration for birds, reptiles, and amphibians.

Storage:

NEKTON-MSA should be stored dry and out of sunlight, between 15° and 25° C (59° and 77° F). DO NOT STORE IN THE FRIDGE !!!
